Universal Studios Limo and Private Car Service from Orlando Airport

Happy Limousine is a private limo and car service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Universal Studios and the rest of Universal Orlando Resort, in an SUV, minivan, passenger van, Sprinter limo or stretch limo. Your chauffeur meets you in baggage claim on Level 2 with a sign, and the drive takes about 25 to 30 minutes (roughly 13 miles), the shortest of the big Orlando resort runs. It's just your party, straight to your hotel.

How it works

  1. Book online or by phone. Give us your flight number and your hotel. You get an email confirmation, usually the same day.
  2. Get your chauffeur's details. About 24 hours before pickup we text you your chauffeur's name and cell number.
  3. Land and collect your bags. Your chauffeur waits in baggage claim on Level 2 holding a sign with your name. You have 45 minutes of free waiting after you land.
  4. Ride straight to your hotel. Just your party, plus any stop you asked for.

Which vehicle fits your group

Pick by people and luggage. Stretch limos seat a lot of people but hold less luggage than a van, so a family of eight with checked bags is usually happier in the Sprinter limo or a Transit van.

Where we drive at Universal Orlando

We drive to every Universal Orlando Resort hotel and to the parks: Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay, Universal Epic Universe (opened May 2025) and Universal CityWalk. We also serve the hotels and vacation rentals along International Drive and around SeaWorld, which are the same 25 to 30 minutes from MCO.

Rides people book with us during their stay:

  • Hotel to a park, CityWalk or dinner out. Call at least 24 hours ahead if you can, and no later than 2 hours before the ride.
  • Universal to Walt Disney World, roughly 20 minutes apart depending on traffic. See Disney World transportation.
  • Universal to Port Canaveral for a cruise, 60 to 75 minutes. See private transportation to Port Canaveral.
  • Back to MCO when you fly home.

Is a private car worth it for such a short ride?

The ride is short, so the difference is mostly at the airport end. A private car makes sense when:

  • You want someone waiting in baggage claim instead of a trip to the rideshare pickup area with all your bags.
  • You have kids who need car seats, which rideshare cars usually don't carry.
  • Your group is bigger than one car. Our vans and limos seat up to 18 together, so nobody splits up.
  • You're heading to a park on day one and want to stop at your hotel first to drop the bags.

Timing tip: for a domestic flight, book the pickup for your scheduled landing time. The 45 minutes of free waiting covers the walk to baggage claim and collecting your bags.

Fees worth knowing

Rates for each vehicle are on our rates and fleet page. A few extras to know about:

  • 5% fuel surcharge on every booking.
  • Pickups between 11 pm and 6 am: $10 extra.
  • International arrivals: $35 per booking.
  • Gratuity isn't added to local rides you book directly with us; 20% is the usual amount.
  • Your card on file may be charged up to 14 days before your ride. We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and cash.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the drive from Orlando airport to Universal Orlando?

About 25 to 30 minutes, roughly 13 miles, to Universal Orlando Resort hotels. International Drive and SeaWorld-area hotels take about the same. It's the closest of the major Orlando resort areas to MCO.

Where do I meet my driver at Orlando International Airport?

In baggage claim on Level 2 (take the escalators down). Your chauffeur holds a sign with Happy Limousine and your name. That meet and greet costs nothing extra in our SUVs, minivans, vans and limos. About 24 hours before pickup you get a text with your chauffeur's name and cell number.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

You still get 45 minutes of free waiting after you land. If the flight is late, a delayed-flight fee of $15 an hour applies, counted from the original arrival time and capped at $30. After the free 45 minutes, waiting is billed at the vehicle's hourly rate, pro-rated.

Can you drop us at Epic Universe?

Yes. We drive to every Universal park and hotel, including Epic Universe. Tell us the park or hotel when you book so your chauffeur heads to the right entrance.

Can you provide car seats for the kids?

Yes, if you ask when you book. Car seats, boosters and infant carriers are $15 each, per leg. Children 5 and under must ride in one. You install the seat; our chauffeurs can't, for liability reasons. You're welcome to bring your own.

Can we stop at a grocery store on the way to our hotel?

Yes. Add the stop when you book or tell us by phone. Extra stops start at $35 per stop; call 407-856-1280 for the exact price for your vehicle.

How far is Universal Orlando from Disney World?

Roughly 20 minutes by car, depending on traffic and which hotels you're going between, so a day at the other resort is easy to fit in. We drive between the two in any vehicle in our fleet.

Can you take us from Universal to Port Canaveral for a cruise?

Yes. Allow 60 to 75 minutes from Universal or International Drive to Port Canaveral. Use 9155 Charles M. Rowland as the port address when booking so you get the correct rate. More on private transportation to Port Canaveral.

I'm arriving on an international flight. What pickup time should I book?

Book your pickup 1.5 hours after your flight lands, so you have time for customs and bags. International arrivals carry a $35 fee per booking (not per person).

How far ahead do I need to book, and what if plans change?

Book online any time before arrival day; same-day arrivals must be booked by phone at 407-856-1280. Cancel at least 2 days before pickup for a full refund. If your flight is cancelled less than 48 hours out, the fare becomes a ride credit good for 12 months.

Do you have Spanish-speaking chauffeurs?

Yes. Several of our chauffeurs speak Spanish fluently. Ask when you book and we'll try to assign one.
